Our Services

Summerization

Make sure your boat is ready to go this summer by taking advantage of our summerization service. We make sure that everything is put back together, topped off, and operating properly to give you peace of mind when you head out on the lake. It's simply a reversal of the precautions that are taken to protect your motor from the cold elements.

Summerization Includes:

  • Checking all fluids.
  • Hooking up/Charging battery.
  • Tightening belts.
  • Water testing.
  • Reinstalling block plugs.
  • Check all systems.

Winterization

Winterization is an absolute must for your engine. Since your engine cools with water from the lake, opposed to antifreeze like in your car, freezing temperatures can cause water that is trapped inside your engine block and manifolds to freeze, requiring complete motor replacement. The fuel system must also be prepared for the winter season. Without proper fuel system maintenance, your fuel can form a varnish, putting unnecessary stress on your fuel pump.

Winterization Includes:

  • Changing oil and filter.
  • Stabilizing fuel.
  • Replacing fuel filter.
  • Draining water from block.
  • Changing gear oil.
  • Disconnecting battery.

20 Hours

When you purchase your unit new, be sure to break in all of your components properly by performing the correct maintenance procedures. Following Oak Hill Marina's maintenance schedule helps ensure the longevity of your boat, and trouble-free time on the lake.

100 Hours

In addition to your seasonal services of winterization and summerization, be sure to inquire about servicing your boat every 100 hours. There are a multitude of components to be checked, charged, torqued, and greased to keep you going for many summers to come.

2 Years

Your engine stays at operating temperature with water drawn from the lake through a rubber impeller, a constant source of cool water is vital to avoid over-heating and break-downs. Over time, your impeller can wear down from picking up sand and other debris from the lake. Even sitting is hard on these components as the rubber can dry out and crack, causing the impeller to fail. 1.Call to reserve your spot in one of our state of the art storage facilities.

2.Let us know the date you will be finished with the boat, and we will pick it up from your home.

3.We will winterize and put it into storage for the season.

You will receive an inventory and condition report before it goes into storage, with exclusive off-season detail specials available to you. Priority service scheduling through-out is awarded to all storage customers.
